Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 20 October 2026

Important notice. By using Monsoom in any way, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

1. Definitions

"Monsoom" is the review collection service at monsoom.com, including its websites, dashboard, review forms, Wall of Love pages and website embeds (the "Service").

"We", "us" and "our" mean Ovviously, the company that owns and runs Monsoom. Monsoom is a product of Ovviously.

"Owner", "you" and "your" mean the person or business that creates a Monsoom account. "Reviewer" means a customer who leaves a review through an Owner's review form. "Content" means reviews, answers, videos, photos, names, logos and anything else submitted to the Service. "Applicable Law" means the laws that apply to you or to your use of the Service, wherever you are.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The Service is mainly meant for businesses in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, and is open to businesses anywhere, subject to Applicable Law. If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm that you can bind that business.

3. What Monsoom does, and what it does not

Monsoom lets you collect text, video and photo reviews from your customers, confirm that the reviewer owns the email address they gave, and show approved reviews on your website through an embed or a shareable Wall of Love page.

The "Email verified" badge means the Reviewer confirmed a code sent to their email. It does not prove that they bought from you, and we do not check whether a review is true. We do not write, edit or endorse reviews. Each review is the opinion of the Reviewer.

4. Eligibility and your account

The Service is for businesses and professionals, not for personal or household use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You must give a real email address and accurate details, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at hello@ovviously.com if you think someone else has used it.

We may refuse, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.

5. Reviews, Reviewers and consent

You are responsible for having the right to ask your customers for reviews and to show them. Our review form asks each Reviewer to agree that their name, review, video and photos may be shown publicly. You must not remove that step.

You choose which reviews to approve and show. You must not edit a review so that it says something the Reviewer did not say. You must follow the advertising and consumer review rules that apply to you, including those in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, and any rules for your profession, such as doctors and lawyers.

If a Reviewer asks you to remove their review, please do so. They can also write to us at hello@ovviously.com.

6. Permitted and prohibited use

You may use the Service to collect and show genuine customer reviews of your own business. You must not:

  • publish fake, paid-for without clear disclosure, hateful, unlawful, defamatory or misleading reviews;
  • write reviews yourself or ask others to write reviews that are not their real experience;
  • upload Content that breaks someone's rights, contains malware, or is sexual, violent or harmful to children;
  • collect personal data from Reviewers beyond what the form asks, or use it for anything other than showing their review;
  • copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the Service, or get around its limits or security;
  • resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.

Breaking this section may lead to immediate suspension or closure of your account.

7. Videos and photos

Videos can be up to 60 seconds and 100 MB. Reviewers on Premium forms can add up to 5 photos to a review. Photos are shrunk and saved as JPG files. We may remove videos or photos that break these terms.

8. Plans, payments and taxes

The Free plan costs nothing. Premium costs $24 a month, or $20 a month when paid yearly. Prices are in US dollars and can change. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies to you.

Premium is paid in advance for each period. Payments are handled by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Prices do not include taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties or levies that apply to you under the law where you live, and we add them where the law requires us to.

Your plan renews at the end of each period unless you cancel it from the Billing page before the renewal date. After you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

When a paid plan ends, your account moves to Free that day. Your reviews, videos and photos are kept, and we delete nothing. Your oldest review form stays live and your other forms are paused. Reviews beyond the Free limits, and all videos and photos, stay hidden. Our badge returns to your embed, and only the Free widgets work. If you go Premium again, everything comes back at once.

9. No refunds

All fees are non-refundable. We do not give refunds, credits or part-period amounts for unused time, unused features or early cancellation, except where Applicable Law says we must and you cannot waive that right. You can try the Free plan for as long as you like before you pay.

10. Your data and deleting it

Your reviews belong to you. You can export them any time from Settings. When you delete a review or a form, it is removed for good straight away, together with its videos and photos. When you delete your account, everything is removed. We keep daily backups to protect against loss, and we use them for nothing else. A copy of deleted data may stay in a backup until that backup is cleared out.

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual property

Monsoom, its logo, design and software belong to Ovviously. These terms give you the right to use the Service, not to own any part of it.

You keep ownership of your Content. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display it only as needed to run the Service for you, for example to show approved reviews on your Wall of Love and your website embeds. Reviewers keep ownership of what they write, record and photograph. You must make sure that you have the rights you need to show it.

12. Availability and support

We work hard to keep Monsoom running, but we cannot promise it will never go down or be free of errors. We may change or improve the Service from time to time. Support is by email at hello@ovviously.com. Premium gets faster replies.

13. Third-party services

The Service runs with the help of other companies: Cloudflare (storage), Supabase (login), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Razorpay (payments) and, if a Reviewer chooses it, Google (sign in). Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for them.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will meet your needs, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that reviews will increase your sales, or that Content shown by it is accurate.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, sales, data or goodwill, however caused. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend and cover us against claims, losses and costs that come from your Content, from how you use reviews, or from your breach of these terms or of the law.

17. Ending the service

You can stop using Monsoom at any time, and delete your account from the Account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. Consumer and data protection laws that apply where you live continue to apply to the extent required by local law.

Before starting any formal proceedings, please write to us at hello@ovviously.com and give us 30 days to try to solve the problem. Disputes that cannot be solved this way will be settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The seat of arbitration is Guwahati, Assam, India, and the language is English. Either side may ask the courts in Guwahati, Assam, India for urgent interim relief. To the fullest extent the law allows, you waive any right to bring or join a class action against us.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before material changes apply. If you keep using the Service after the change, you accept the new terms.

20. Contact and grievances

For questions, data requests or complaints, write to hello@ovviously.com. We aim to reply within 48 hours.
